Enjoy it with chutney or ketchup for a delicious breakfast or snack! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⤵️ 👉 How to Make Delicious Aloo Puri Ingredients • 2 cups all-purpose flour • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil • 1 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain) • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder • Water as needed For the Potato Filling • 4 potatoes boiled, peeled, and mashed • 2 tablespoons oil • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds • 1 teaspoon ginger grated • 1 teaspoon coriander powder • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala • 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur) • 1 teaspoon green chili paste • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro • Salt to taste Instructions 1. To make the dough for the aloo puri, combine all-purpose flour, vegetable oil, salt, carom seeds, and baking powder in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together and gradually add water to knead into a soft, pliable dough. Cover with a damp cloth and set aside for 20 minutes. 2. To make the potato filling, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and fennel seeds and sauté for a few seconds. 3. Add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Add ginger, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, dry mango powder, green chili paste, and chopped cilantro. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add salt to taste and mix. 4. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions. Take a portion of dough and roll into a 3-4 inch circle. Fill with 1 tablespoon of the potato mixture. 5. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and press together to get a flat circle. 6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Gently slide the prepared puri into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown. 7. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup. Enjoy!
