These easy homemade bean pakoras are a great snack or appetizer. They are made with mashed kidney beans, chickpea flour, spices, herbs, and onion. Deep fry them until golden brown and serve with chutney or ketchup. Perfect for parties, or as a quick snack. Enjoy!
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⤵️Capture :- How To make Beans pakora.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of cooked kidney beans (rajma)
- 2 cups of chickpea flour
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons of grated onion
- 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- Water as needed
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mash the cooked kidney beans using a spoon or a fork.
2. Add the chickpea flour, red chili powder, salt, grated onion, and chopped cilantro. Mix everything together until combined.
3. Add water as needed to create a thick batter.
4. Heat up a deep pan with the vegetable oil.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter and gently drop it into the hot oil.
6. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Use a slotted spoon, remove each bean pakora and transfer them onto a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.
8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup. Enjoy!
You can also add crushed garlic and grated ginger to the mixture for extra flavor. You can also sprinkle chaat masala or any other spices of your choice for added flavor.
